Academics

Mr. Shapiro earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in 1949, and his Juris Doctorate from the Rutgers University School of Law in 1952.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shapiro was a sole practitioner for 30 years, and then beginning in 1983 he practiced with the law firm of Shapiro & Shapiro, P.C.  in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  His personal practice emphasized business planning, formation and transactions, wills and estates, and litigation in the areas of personal injury, family law and business law.  During his career, in addition to his private practice, he also served as a Municipal Court Judge, Treasurer of the South Jersey Port Corporation, Deputy Attorney General, Assistant Camden County Prosecutor, Assistant City Counsel for the City of Camden, and a Municipal Prosecutor.

Admitted to Practice

Mr. Shapiro is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in New Jersey, as well as before the United States Supreme Court.
