Mr. Bell earned his undergraduate degree from Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Virginia, and his law degree from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Professional Experience

Mr. Bell served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ernest L. Alvino, J.S.C. (Ret.) and the Honorable Samuel G. DeSimone, A.J.S.C. (Ret.). After his clerkship, Mr. Bell entered the private practice of law, representing the Pittsgrove Township Committee, the Elsinboro Township Committee, the Quinton Township Planning Board, the Pollution Control Financing Authority of Salem and the Salem County Improvement Authority. Mr. Bell served two terms on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Salem County. He retired from his position as trial chief in the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office on June 30, 2003, after having served over 25 years as an assistant prosecutor in the Salem and Cumberland County Prosecutor's Offices, serving in the position of trial chief in both counties.
