I joined Helmer, Conley & Kasselman, P.A., in 2022 after a distinguished law enforcement career with over 25 years of service. My undergraduate studies were completed at Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey), where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Law and Justice. I am also a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the NJ State Association of Chiefs of Police - Command and Leadership Program.
My law enforcement career included over 20 years of experience conducting investigations for the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office. I retired as Chief of Detectives in 2022, overseeing all operations performed by the office. My career included conducting and managing complex investigations involving violent crime, child abuse, collision analysis, narcotics enforcement, use of force, cyber-crime, forensics, and white-collar crime. My diverse career included previous service for the New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission and the New Castle County Police Department enabling me to view the criminal justice system from all perspectives. I have instructed law enforcement topics to include interview and interrogation, scene management, frontline supervision, and criminal investigation. During my career, I received numerous commendations for investigative accomplishment, and now utilize decades of investigative experience to support the staff at Helmer, Conley & Kasselman, P.A., in ongoing matters.
Although my professional passion involves investigations, spending time outdoors is how I enjoy spending my spare time. Whether hunting, fishing, or simply a long walk in the woods, there are few places I would rather be.
