Robert J. Luther

Academics: Mr. Luther earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University at New Brunswick and earned his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden.

Professional Experience: After working as a law clerk for the Honorable Mary Ellen Talbott, J.S.C. (Ret.), Mr. Luther served as an Assistant Prosecutor for over 25 years. He was the First Assistant Prosecutor and Trial Chief for the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office. At the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, he served as the Section Chief of the Major Crimes Unit and also worked in the trial team, grand jury and juvenile units. Mr. Luther was certified as an instructor by the Police Training Commission and taught at the Police Academies in Cumberland and Camden County, also serving as the Police Legal Advisor. Mr. Luther has appeared on Court TV and Due Process. He has successfully tried dozens of homicide cases.

Admitted to Practice: Mr. Luther is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts in New Jersey and has practiced law since 1983.
